Last November saw the Gentlemen and Assassins come to Tricone Studios for an intense Live Recording to finish off and represent their highly successful 2011 European Tour. The 3-piece consisting of Brian Viglione (Dresden Dolls, Nine Inch Nails), Sxip Shirey (The Luminescent Orchestrii, The Daredevil Opera Company) and Elyas Khan (Nervous Cabaret) pulled off an amazing performance in the studio, capturing the songs from the tour with all the vigorous passion and flavour of their live shows! If you haven’t heard of the “Pooballs” yet, it’s about time you did! These guys are the real deal… great shows, great songs and now… the CD to match! Recording their first full album at Tricone over this past year, the guys will be performing at Sage Club for the CD release on January 12th. If you are in Berlin, be sure to check it out!
Berlin’s female fronted Rap/Rock outfit, “Firefiles” were at Tricone last month to begin work on their new EP. The band has put together a bunch of new tracks with their trademark, hard-hitting rap vocals and heavy rock grooves. The new songs have more attitude and punch than ever and this recording is destined to draw the attention and respect that such a great act deserves.
Last month saw the return of the “Cabrio Ambulance” to Tricone. After a successful drum recording earlier in the year, Cabrio Ambulance’s main man and creative mind, Kacper, decided it was worth adding a few more tracks to the projects forthcoming album. The Album is due for release early next year.
